This is wonderful! There are no drops thus far and there are a few more characters/players here. Since everyone basically checked in, we're now at about:

MOD POST

As you guys have probably noticed, I've been pretty inactive for the past few weeks. I asked Megan (Roxas!mun) to help me out a little bit and this is why. Most people probably know by now, but I've been in the process of moving and getting settling in. I finally have my stuff unpacked and started working, but then I had to wait about a week or so for internet. I just got it today finally so I'm back and ready to get back into the swing of things.

I really do apologize for how slow I've been and I appreciate you guys putting up with me.

Changes

As far as any new things go, there are a few things I would like to put up or start.

Canon vs Harry Potter AUs
The first being something that I already addressed, but haven't gotten to just yet... For anyone who wants to have their character be a HP AU, please make sure to put it down on the taken list either to change or when you bring a new character in. I will be adding that little tidbit into the form itself soon, but just a reminder for those who are interested in it.

Character Years
The second thing that I would like to address is that I've been thinking it may be a good idea to put something up for this, but this may also just be something that I change in the Taken List entirely to add it in. That, however, may or may not actually happen, as it would mean that I'd have to modify the entire thread. So for the time being, in the next few days, I'll be pulling up a thread for a resource for anyone who want to know what year is which character and we'll see what happens from there.

Special Abilities/Pets
These might just be trivial matters, but I'm still uncertain if I should put something up for these as well. That's why I'm going to leave this up to you guys. Should there be a thread for these things here? If there's a unanimous vote to do so, I will most likely just put it with Character years and keep it as a general resource for anyone interested. The Special Abilities (SA) may be more likely to happen regarding different powers and what not. Give me your thoughts on the matter!

Co-Mods/Helper Mods
I mentioned it before, but the need for another mod or two might be coming up soon. If Megan is still interested in helping out, that would be great, but otherwise... I think it's time to seriously put up an application for another mod. So if anyone is interested in helping out the game that has a fair amount of HP knowledge (and modding experience would be nice, but not expected), once it's up, feel free to reply to it. I have no idea when it'll be up at this point of time, but expect it soon. I know there were a few people interested.

That being said, I really need to thank Megan for helping me out. Even with just updating things for me, it's been a tremendous help and I really appreciate everything you've done for me so far.

Plotting

I've said it before on plurk, but I don't think I've actually said it here.

There will be a plot to this game!

I know that there hasn't been much just yet because of RL kicking in and just wanting to get into the swing of things, but as far as what will happen right now, it'll be starting soon. I just hope that it'll be okay for the time being.

That being said though, I'm always up for any player plots that people would like to do. I know that Lisa (Fai, Kairi, ect. mun) brought up a possible trivial and game event for something to do. I've already basically okayed it, but whenever she chooses to do it is up to her.

If there are any other people interested in starting something, just come to me either on this thread, PM, or Plurk and let me know what you're planning. I'd love to see what you guys have in mind!

(Because I was randomly talking and I had this crappy edit idea come into my mind. No seriously... This wasn't really meant to be a serious edit here.)

It was only a matter of time until I ended up with a lot of muses here....

My name is Terra and I'm obviously very easy to enable. If you don't know me, I'm the head mod here. I'll be bringing two muses in for now (and probably more later).

First, I'm bringing you one very prideful and painfully tsundere mage who has nearly Zero success rate, did you see what I did there?, Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière from Zero no Tsukaima; otherwise translated as The Familiar of Zero. It's a fairly obscure canon so for anyone who is unfamiliar with it, Louise can be very violent (although it's pretty much 95% directed to her familiar, Saito) at times and can seem to be a spoiled aristocrat, but she really is very loyal and cares deeply about her friends and familiar beneath her tsundere wall.

She's also extremely good at blowing things up. But details. Anyways, for those who are familiar with the series, she's taken from the end of Season 2 anime (mostly because wedding yesssssss) before realizing Saito is okay. Spoilers, highlight at your own risk: More specifically, right after being drugged with sleeping potion at Saito and Louise's rushed wedding before marching off to face 70,000 troops. Although Saito basically took her place and she's realized while on the escape ship that Saito had been killed and was last moping in her room. I'm terrible and have brought her from before she realizes that Saito is alive again. So with that being said, Louise is going to be extremely distraught and emotional upon arriving. Louise will be a 6th year Gryffindor.

For anyone who wants to add me that doesn't have me already, my aim is Niaeron and my plurk is Sugoitera. The only thing I ask is that you let me know who you are, because I'll probably be really confused otherwise. With that being said, I'm super excited and I can't wait to tag all of you!

The next person being another engaged pink haired girl. I'll be bringing Serah Farron from Final Fantasy XIII. Except she's going to be taken from early on into the game because I no longer have a working PS3 to continue FFXIII-2. To be exact, she'll be taken from after going into crystal stasis. Needless to say, she'll be missing a lot of information once she finds out from Lightning or anyone else who comes here.

For anyone who's unfamiliar with the game, Serah is a Pulse L'Cie -- someone who has been branded by the Fal'Cie -- and given a Focus -- or a task -- to complete in time. However these Focuses are extremely vague and the vision you get doesn't give you a lot of information; just vague images of what's to come and what is needed to happen. From there you have to figure it out on your own before your time is up. As you run out of time, the brand that is given to you somewhere on your body will change. If you do not complete your Focus on time, you become one of these monsters called a Cie'th. If you do complete your focus, you become a crystal and live on again in some future later on. You can read more on if you'd like to keep from making this too long, but Serah is one of the main triggers of the game, though not the first.

Although Serah has completed her Focus, so she'll be extremely confused and worried that she hadn't actually completed it. Though her Brand might be scorched over for completing her Focus. But besides the whole L'Cie deal, Serah is otherwise an incredibly caring person and very thoughtful to the point that she would rather run off and hide so that she can't hurt anyone like she did when she found out she'd been branded. She's also very smart and took care of things on the home front while Lightning played soldier after their parents died.

But before I forget where I'm going with this after double checking details, it has been a while since I've last played her, so she may be a little rusty. I hope that she sounds okay though.

Oh, did I mention that both of these girls are either engaged or sort of married?

EDITED TO ADD: Serah was changed to a HP AU, so she'll be a 7th year Ravenclaw and in love with one of her teachers. To be fair, they were dating before he become one...? Probably?

Hi. Silas here. My plurk is chromatus. Brand new to this place, and I am bringing in Anna of Arendelle straight from canon, Frozen. She's set right before the end of the movie, i.e. punching Hans and giving her sister a hug. none of that kissing Kristoff thing, so she's still a single lady at this point :D

She'll be a 7th year Hufflepuff, and will want to be friends with everyone she meets. She's also super exuberant, and might just run circles around everyone with her endless enthusiasm. Anna is also not too good with personal boundaries. If you make her mad enough, you might just get the honor of meeting her fist. this might not be hard to do. she does have a bit of a temper. And just like a Hufflepuff, she'll want to help everyone and be super loyal to her friends.



My second lady will be Lightning Farron from the FFXIII series. She is the no-nonsense type, who is tough on everyone, including her own sister. She knows how to fight, and does so without pulling punches. Lightning is a closed off person to everyone but her friends. Expect the cold and distant treatment till she gets to used to you. Like Serah, she is a former Pulse l'Cie.

Since the canon point I am taking her from might be super spoilers for a lot of people the following change has been made: She is a HP AU, being in charge of Defense Against the Dark Arts, and a former Gryffindor. Don't mess with her, or you'll have more homework than there are days in the school year.

Hello, everyone! I'm completely new here but come on, it's a Harry Potter RP, I'm weak, and the series has a very special place in my heart. I'm Michelle and I'm bringing to the table--

Snow Villiers, of Final Fantasy XIII! Basically he's a huge idiot who's in dumb mushy love with Serah and he'd do literally anything for her. For those unfamiliar with FFXIII, Snow's a big talker who has no shame when it comes to Serah and he likes to call Lightning "sis" which gets super on her nerves. Plot stuff happens and he harbors a lot of guilt, but luckily for this RP he'll be AU'd, so no sad for the hero. He'll be teaching Care of Magical Creatures and he will fight a dragon if he has to? Please don't let him fight a dragon, he'll get murdered.

I've actually never played Snow before so bear with me while I settle into his voice, but I'm super happy to be playing him here with the Farron duo!

kingdom hearts more like kingdom HURTS.

Aqua from Kingdom Hearts! She will not be AU'd like the rest of her castmates so I await delicious confusion. She's coming right from endgame so she'll be a little off because terrible things happen in Birth by Sleep. However, Aqua is no less motherly and caring, and if she gets to know you and care about you, she'll go to the ends of the earth to protect you. She's a mage so magic is nothing new to her, and let's be real Aqua will be the resident mom figure and adopt all the kids. She's a Gryffindor, and if you need Charms help come to her because she'll excel.

Plus, she's got some sweet baking skills.

Hey, this is Nea (player of Annie, Mikasa, Korra and Ryoma) apolizing for not having been around or doing anything at all with half of them yet, I'll be busy for this week and then around again from next week on!! Though I will try to tag some stuff this week if I can get my mind to focus on rp because i miss it, anyway I can be found on plurk at baranohanabira feel free to add! ... I'm also here because I'm adding two idols from Love Live! School Idol Project to my list. Yes, girls from same series again which means one of them is AU...

Honoka Kousaka is this one friendly ball of cheerful sunshine, who'll never stop going and rolling. She's also an airhead and she'd probably be still in her first year if her friends hadn't helped her through school... She'll be really determined to befriend everyone, literally everyone, here and nothing can stop her! Just a girl full of hope and optimist thinking and always looking at the bright side and never afraid to take risks!

She'll be in Hufflepuff, third year and her family runs Honeydukes at Hogsmeade because they run a Japanese sweets shop in canon! She's obviously the HP AU here because her whole family is NPCed to the game too.



Don't let the cheerful persona of Nico Yazawa (lovenico) on the gif above fool you too much, that's just half of the girl! She's the self-proclaimed QUEEN & EVERYONE'S FAVORITE IDOL, a huge bitch for someone as tiny as she is and also pretty aggressive, sassy and annoying according to most people, who meet her. Presented in the gif above is her so called Idol Persona because idols exist to make people smile!! So Smiling Nico-chan / Nico-Nico nii / Nico nii, Nico-chan! or whatever you want to call her is here to make you all smile! They are the same person, she just switches to that idol mode with no shame for whatever she says all the time, lol. She'll be here to bring smiles straight to your heart and even makes the sun and sky smile with her.

She's in Slytherin, first year because she looks just as young as that, canon point's post anime season 2 and usually she's more serious like the gif below!
