This is wonderful! There are no drops thus far and there are a few more characters/players here. Since everyone basically checked in, we're now at about:

Canons | 30
Players | 15

HP AUs | 17

Total | 45 Characters all together

MOD POST

As you guys have probably noticed, I've been pretty inactive for the past few weeks. I asked Megan (Roxas!mun) to help me out a little bit and this is why. Most people probably know by now, but I've been in the process of moving and getting settling in. I finally have my stuff unpacked and started working, but then I had to wait about a week or so for internet. I just got it today finally so I'm back and ready to get back into the swing of things.

I really do apologize for how slow I've been and I appreciate you guys putting up with me.

Changes

As far as any new things go, there are a few things I would like to put up or start.

Canon vs Harry Potter AUs
The first being something that I already addressed, but haven't gotten to just yet... For anyone who wants to have their character be a HP AU, please make sure to put it down on the taken list either to change or when you bring a new character in. I will be adding that little tidbit into the form itself soon, but just a reminder for those who are interested in it.

Character Years
The second thing that I would like to address is that I've been thinking it may be a good idea to put something up for this, but this may also just be something that I change in the Taken List entirely to add it in. That, however, may or may not actually happen, as it would mean that I'd have to modify the entire thread. So for the time being, in the next few days, I'll be pulling up a thread for a resource for anyone who want to know what year is which character and we'll see what happens from there.

Special Abilities/Pets
These might just be trivial matters, but I'm still uncertain if I should put something up for these as well. That's why I'm going to leave this up to you guys. Should there be a thread for these things here? If there's a unanimous vote to do so, I will most likely just put it with Character years and keep it as a general resource for anyone interested. The Special Abilities (SA) may be more likely to happen regarding different powers and what not. Give me your thoughts on the matter!

Co-Mods/Helper Mods
I mentioned it before, but the need for another mod or two might be coming up soon. If Megan is still interested in helping out, that would be great, but otherwise... I think it's time to seriously put up an application for another mod. So if anyone is interested in helping out the game that has a fair amount of HP knowledge (and modding experience would be nice, but not expected), once it's up, feel free to reply to it. I have no idea when it'll be up at this point of time, but expect it soon. I know there were a few people interested.

That being said, I really need to thank Megan for helping me out. Even with just updating things for me, it's been a tremendous help and I really appreciate everything you've done for me so far.

Plotting

I've said it before on plurk, but I don't think I've actually said it here.

There will be a plot to this game!

I know that there hasn't been much just yet because of RL kicking in and just wanting to get into the swing of things, but as far as what will happen right now, it'll be starting soon. I just hope that it'll be okay for the time being.

That being said though, I'm always up for any player plots that people would like to do. I know that Lisa (Fai, Kairi, ect. mun) brought up a possible trivial and game event for something to do. I've already basically okayed it, but whenever she chooses to do it is up to her.

If there are any other people interested in starting something, just come to me either on this thread, PM, or Plurk and let me know what you're planning. I'd love to see what you guys have in mind!

re: putting in canon/hp au and the character years, I think it'll be 1000% more helpful for people who want to plot or app in.

a thread for special powers also looks good!

might I also suggest that the comments on the taken list be cleaned after each character has been added to the list?

That's what I figured. I didn't think about it before everyone starting coming and questioned it.

That is something I can do. I thought about that too, but it would probably look cleaner that way. That'll be easy to do at the very least. Thank you for your input.

oh yeah you might also wanna set down actual limits/rules in special abilities and pets? like power caps and stuff just in case :/a

That's a bit hard because it really depends on each character if it's important to them, you know? It's something I'll think more about though to figure something for sure though.
