evaneskoHey, this is Terra here and although that subject may be a little scary, I promise that it's nothing regarding closing or anything of the sort.
HOWEVER
I do realize that I haven't been nearly as active as I'd wanted to be nor have i been the best mod for the past few months. To make things simple, though they don't excuse me from my duties, real life has been kicking my ass and with trying to keep my activity up in other games I'm in, things here have sort of been buried under everything else.
[ LIST UPDATES | ACTIVITY CHECK ]
To keep things on track though, I'd like to start out with the obvious thing here. Lists of all sorts. More importantly, the taken list and anyone who's dropped and joined. Everyone will be processed and put on or taken off as needed, but first we need to have an idea of how many people are still around. By all means, we're happy to see all of you here and I do intend to get back in the swing of things.
So what I'd like for everyone here to do is I guess a much needed Activity Check. This won't necessarily have a time period itself as we just want to get the feel of what needs to be added, changed, or removed, but please be honest and let us know. It'll make it easier for us to determine, although anyone who doesn't answer eventually are free to bug one of us to add you back on if you were taken off by mistake.

[ MOD UPDATES ]
On another note, for a few months now, I've been thinking of another mod/helper, but just never got to putting something up (shame on me), but I would like to introduce a new helper mod that's here to help keep lists clean and orderly. Please welcome Willow (mundane of Matsumoto Rangiku & Jean Kirstein for examples) into the mod family so to speak! She has been nice enough to offer her assistance, so I'm really grateful for both Megan and Willow's help!
[ PLOTTING ]
Megan and I discussed plans for Quidditch games and other things along the way, but we've both sort of forgotten to follow through with everything that's been happening. That being said, they will still happen! In fact, since we missed the month we wanted to do it for, the first game (although delayed) should be coming up within a few weeks! So for anyone who was interested in being apart of the time, I'm pretty sure there is still some spaces left for people who are interested!
There is also the mention of Head boys/girls, Prefects, and House Heads. The trouble we have with that is the number of people we have here currently. All of these roles will eventually be put into play, I promise, but probably not all at once. I would personally like to at least figure out house heads or head boys or girls, but that's something that I feel like that should be talked over with the other mods before I approve of anything.
The idea of jobs has come up before, and while I'm still not completely ready to make this available just yet, eventually there will be a few optional. I plan to at least allow assistants for professors or other positions in the castle or on the grounds that students can participate in, but again, that may be just a little while longer.
As far as any other plots, I would personally just like to get back into the swing of things again before diving head on into plotting at the moment, however that is not barring any player run events! If you have something in mind, either message us, ask here, or talk to us on plurk!
The only player run idea so far has been the concept of a new communication device in school. This has already been okayed by me, however there are some conditions. The device will not be useable for some time and will take a good amount of time to really establish anything that will work properly within the school walls with all of it's charms and magic that keeps from muggle technology from working in Hogwarts. This is an actual canon thing that has been established within the books themselves, however this is also later in the series, so it should be no surprise that even muggle technology will eventually work here. For the time being though, there is nothing available for the students/teachers and everything is still prose/action based.
