Flora is a kind and gentle soul who would rather help in some way than hurt. Unless you are being evil or are the Trix then it's perfectly okay. Loves plants and enjoys making potions that help in anyway. Pretty much will be your very nice teacher who will be nice but stern because you have to respect the plants.
But yeah she will be teacher for Herbology because she is a fairy of plants back home, so of course it would be the first thing she would do. It was that or potions.
